RIKETS To Co-Headline This Weekend's WOODSHOCK Festival

August 8, 2007

Ohio's RIKETS has been tapped as one of the co-headlining acts of this summer's Woodshock festival in Bellfontaine, Ohio. The event is an annual concert and camping festival that runs for three days (August 10-12) with performance by 40-plus bands. Other notable acts co-headling the festival include ANKLA, IN THIS MOMENT, SILENT CIVILIAN, WALLS OF JERICHO and STATIC-X. RIKETS will perform on August 10.

In other RIKETS news, the band is currently on a 40-plus-date tour across the U.S. which runs until September 8. The band is also putting the final touches on its new release, "All American Death Cult", which features a appearance from Gerard McMann on a cover of the cult classic "Cry Little Sister" (theme from the movie "Lost Boys") and will be featured in the upcoming Warner Brothers picture "Lost Boys 2". The band has posted a three-part video blog documenting the making of the new album and footage of Gerard with the band in the studio on their MySpace page.
